Lawrence County educators, employers, elected officials and Chamber representatives gathered on Monday for an announcement regarding the county's ACT Work Ready initiative.Dina Rose, who has spearheaded the project on behalf of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, announced that Lawrence County has been officially certified as an ACT Work Ready Community, making it only the third county in the state to receive the designation.
