With so much business interest coming to the Hoosier state from all over the world, communities around the state are getting preemptive by giving them ready-made places to move into. Spec buildings are going up all over the place this year in the hopes of luring job creators and their investments. One of those highlighted is an industrial park in New Castle that's part of the Henry County WRC.

Officials in Henry County recently broke ground on a new speculative (shell) building project in New Castle. The new construction will become New Castle-Henry County Industrial Park’s third spec building. The newest spec building is currently available to interested buyers in this Work Ready Community.

The Work Ready Communities of Eastern Indiana Works Region 6 developed the Telecoach model enabling customers to connect remotely with a career coach.  "If customers are tech-saavy and enabled, they can work wiht one of our employees without having to meet face-to-face. We can help them with everything from the initial assessment, enrollment, interview preparation, re-employment plan creation, or resume building. Whehter you're unable to visit a center or simply don't want to, we can serve you," noted Project Director Wayne Williams.
