Residents will earn $11 an hour while participating in Rolla Job Center's new virtual program August 17, 2021

Rolla job seekers between the ages of 14-24 now have the opportunity to gain virtual work experience through The Career Club. Individuals will earn $11 an hour while participating in the virtual training and transition to a minimum wage of $12 an hour following work experience placement. 

New program could bring unemployed people one step closer to a career July 26, 2017

Two community outreach officers with the Police Department will give residents who express interest in employment a chance to complete the form on the officer's tablet.

The form has eight questions that gather basic contact information and general employment interests. It also lets participants indicate whether they are interested in job readiness assistance through Job Point or in obtaining a National Career Readiness Certificate at the Missouri Career Center.
