Missouri has a severe labor shortage, and it could get worse.
That’s the sobering lesson of Workforce 2030, a new report commissioned by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce. The chamber hired Gallup to survey 1,000 employers, whose responses were pretty gloomy.
St. Louis County is pleased to announce that it has achieved ACT Certified Work Ready Community (CWRC) status. States, counties and economic development agencies across the United States have adopted the ACT Work Ready Communities program as a means of providing employers evidence of a skilled workforce.
