Site Selection Magazine's November edition includes a dozen location spotlights that include WorkKeys NCRC growth trends to demonstrate workforce quality. Features include Kansas, the Dakotas, Virginia, Nebraska, New York, Mississippi, Washington, and Wyoming.

Guilford County Schools held a hiring fair Wednesday to recruit teaching assistants to fill gaps from large increases in student enrollment. Applicants needed 48 semester hours of higher education coursework.  The WorkKeys NCRC helps satisfy all but six hours as an alternative qualification.

The National Association of Workforce Development Professionals recently showcase Guilford County, North Carolina as the lead for the October NAWDP Advantage publication. Guilford deployed a mobile career center in partnership with the Eastern Triad Workforce Initiative.

Workforce, ideal logistics location, and a ready-to-go site all came together for Greenville, NC to attract more than two hundred new jobs and a $27 million investment from Prepac Manufacturing. Located in the Work Ready Community of Guilford County, the Greenville-High Point area is known as the Home Furnishings Capital of the World for leading resources in design, manufacturing, and shipping.
