Eau Claire County continues to lead the way in workforce development as Wisconsin's first designated ACT Work Ready Community - a milestone that reflects not just our success, but a collaborative vision for the future of our region's economy. ACT recently awarded an exemplar award to WRC champion CV Technical College.
The elite WRC certification indicates a county’s workforce quality and skills, said Lynette Livingston, CVTC provost and vice president of Academic and Student Affairs. Although Eau Claire is the first county in Wisconsin to earn the designation, 559 communities throughout the United States currently are certified.
