Clark County School District, Workforce Connections, and the College of Southern Nevada use ACT WorkKeys and the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate to create a pipeline of talent ready to participate in a four-year, 8,000-hour apprenticeship program for NV Energy.

Gov. Parson Endorses WorkKeys and Work Ready Communities

Governor Mike Parson delivered Missouri's State of the State address Wednesday afternoon. The speech included Parson's support for all 114 Missouri counties to reach their WRC certification by the end of his term. For this year, the governor expressed a goal to offer WorkKeys to 12 thousand high schoolers in the Show-Me State.

Clark County WRC Wins Prestigious NAWB Award

The ACT Work Ready Community (WRC) of Clark County, NV netted high honors today by the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB). The prestigious Laurie Moran Partnership Award from NAWB holds a special meaning to ACT's Work Ready Communities family as well. Laurie Moran was one of the first members of the advisory board that launched WRC. NAWB presented the award during their national Forum conference.
